Art-Aide is a general purpose mixing and painting oil well known for its effectiveness as a one-fire or multiple-fire medium. My mother, Betty Humphrey, developed this medium to remain open indefinitely allowing the artist to paint heavy and wet, without chipping, runs or blistering. Karla Pendleton's line of overglaze colors (china paints) are smooth paints which require no grinding. We formulate our own colors concentrating our efforts on providing paints which will maintain their intensity, hue and shine at a high fire. Great for one-fire or multiple-fire work. Recommended firing temperature for iron-bearing colors (oranges, reds, violet of iron) is 016, other colors can be fired at 014 to 010. We also carry a limited selection of fine Reusche and House of China paints.

This turntable is totally adjustable. Using a simple sliding hinge, the angle which is just right for you can be locked in. A non-slip surface insures that your piece will stay put as you rotate it without the use of clamps. Compact in size this turntable will fold flat for easy storage and transport. This product is a dimensional glaze and must be applied to white china and fired at 06 prior to any painting. Base in a Bottle is a wonderful replacement for raised paste, providing high relief, high gloss and can be covered with gold, china paint, luster or left it's own natural color. Imagine beautiful "paste" work without chipping, and without the hassle of mixing with turpentine to "just the right consistency".
